NUTREND became sole Czech provider of dietary supplements for Olympionics of Czech republic.
Contract for delivery of special dietary supplements for athletes, who will represent Czech republic on summer Olympic Games in 2008 in China, was signed today by leaders of Oloumouc company NUTREND and Czech Olympic Commitee.
Nutrend company can thus, as a sole Czech producer provide Czech Olympionics with dietary supplements in years 2007 and 2008. Common development and adjustment of some of the recipes are also part of the agreements, says chief executive of company Richard Zednik, therefore cooperation between Olomouc company and Czech Olympic Commitee will start already this year.

An active attitude of company in the fight against doping has also acted positive role.
According to chairman of Czech Olympic Commitee Milan Jirasek,contract between Nutrend and Olympionics was foregone by detailed revision of prodiction process inside company, control of ingredients and analysis of safety of supplied primary commodities for particular dietary supplements. „An active attitude of company in the fight against doping has also acted positive role“ Jirasek reminded. For NUTREND has also agreed on cooperation with Czech Anti-doping Commitee, which has recommended the company as a reliable producer on base of verification and report of Czech Agriculture and Food Ispection Authority.
NUTREND has already experience with nutrition of peak athletes, because of long term cooperation e.g. with representatives and sport commitees. Besides it was official partner of Czech Olympionics on summer Olympic Games in Athens and on winter Olympic Games in Torino. For the environment of winter Olympics the company has even developed special energy bar suitable for cold climate conditions of winter Games.

NUTREND is due to the subscribtion of contract with Czech Olympic Commitee allowed to use the label of “Official supplier of Czech Olympic Commitee 2007 – 2008” in connection with trade mark. Company is also allowed to use phrase “Dietary supplements of Czech Olympionics” as well as logo with Olympic symbols.
NUTREND is biggest domestic company in field and one of the biggest ones in Europe. Its products are delivered to chosen shopping chains, but also to fitness centres, healthy nutrition shops, cyclo-shops and pharmacies. All products are also exported, currently into 15 countries not just of European Union. Company is owned by domestic natural persons, employs more than 90 people and its stocks are registered under a name.
