Year 2009: stars of NUTREND Team shined again
Last year was rich with many successes of stars from NUTREND Team. To our sportsmen we traditionally help to reach extraordinary gains and from beginning of 2009 there was big rush in our stable. Here you can refresh memories in chronological row. – Part 1
January
Everything began with great third place of Petr Vabroušek, our iron man, who opened season with this success on New Zealand in competition Ironman.
February
Second month was in token of Record holders meeting in Prague. This athletic meeting brought to our capital Jan Železný, who is triple Olympic champion. First year of hall gala evening was top level one, there participated many World champions and Olympic winners. Many of them used sports nutrition NUTREND and actually we helped to one world record, which was reached by 25 year old Meseret Defaová. She was fastest in 2 miles run.
March
In March added exquisite success Jiří Ježek, in stage race Vuelta Dominicana he moved again performance possibilities of handicap sport, when he was in race of second highest category UIC third in one from the stages. To be so high between in group professional athletes is result absolutely outsides of tables. And NUTREND is proud that we could be part of that.
Petr Vabroušek continued in great results who was fifth in top class triathlon in Malaysia and confirmed his position in world top.
End of the March belonged to prize-fighter Lukáš Konečný. The most successful prize-boxer beat in 12 rounds in points French Jimmy Colas and he won belt for European Champion in super-welt weight. For Konečný it was 39. win in professional ring.
April
Again Petr Vaboušek, this time with third place in JAR in Ironman. Second podium place in 3 races was very surprising and with that he amazed all triathlon fans. In the same month he finished ironman in China in conditions 40° with 7. position.
This month was starting line of European championship in hill climbs. There entered like tornado Václav Janík. He was hird in season 2008 and here he started his sovereign race for cup.
May
Václav Janík continued with his cup conquering and from Austria and it was occurred, that this season will be in his hands. Number of wins started to grow up. In race circles started to shine second big star from NUTREND team – truck racer David Vršecký.
June
The begin belonged again to Petr Vabroušek, who was for third time in this season on podium. In Brazil he was third
During June added other successes others from NUTREND team as well. Janík changed hill-climbs into one man show. Ježek become King of Šumava when he beat all of healthy cyclist.
