Year 2009: stars of NUTREND Team shined again - Part 2
Last year was rich with many successes of stars from NUTREND Team. To our sportsmen we traditionally help to reach extraordinary gains and from beginning of 2009 there was big rush in our stable. Here you can refresh memories in chronological row. – Part 2
July
In the start of second half of 2009 debit boxer Lukáš Konešný in middle weight up to 72,58 kg and he won again. This victory was in fight again French Christoph Karagoz.
On the winning wave was Václav Janík as well, and his “shadow” with his successes in NUTREND colors was David Vršecký. He won in famous Nürburgring in front of 180 000 viewers.
Competitors started to call Petr Vabroušek the Alien, because in this season he was like someone out of our planet. His appointment was unique and it reflected in his results.10. position in Mecca of Ironman in Roth and 6. position in Lake Placid.
August
Václav Janík is European Champion in hill-climbs three races before end of the championship and he started to celebrate.
In Berlin during athletic World Championship Jaroslav Bába, high-jumper, dreamed about medal. Finally he was fifth. “It was in my hands, but I didn’t handle that,” commented disappointed Bába. He showed he is in world top.
September
In the name of Czech Ironman and there was no other way that victory for Petr Vabroušek. It was not just another valuable victory but his own show as well.
Another big name was in this month Jiří Ježek. He shined during World Championship in Italy in Buggano. He was third in time-trial and in road race he finished on great second place.
Jaroslav Bába really wanted to succeed and in athletic World final he did so. He was second.
November
Jiří Ježek crowned great season with titular in Manchester during hall World Championship. It was his dreamed victory and target for 2009, because it was the only wan cup which was missing in his pocket. The golden point was the time 4:40,899, new World Record. In next races he was silver and bronze so he brought completely collection of medals.
December
In the end of the year we invited new big person in our team. Nikola Sudová. 27 years old acrobat rider is one of the biggest medal hopes for next coming winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
